Integrated Marketing Communications Campaign for the Shenandoah Caverns & American Celebration on Parade

In the fall of 2025, I had the opportunity to work on my first real-world client project, collaborating with a team to develop a full IMC campaign that included digital marketing, social media, sales promotion, out-of-home marketing, and public relations, all tied together under a single campaign theme. The process was challenging but incredibly rewarding, and our team achieved great success. I was even honored with a co-MVP nomination from my teammates. My personal contributions.

During this project, I took on a leadership role in the creative process, guiding both design and concept development. I designed the cover of our plan and created a brand guide with cohesive colors and fonts that reflected our client’s brand identity. I also contributed most of the ideas for our media plan sections and designed the full layout for that portion of the project. All of the deliverables shown above were created by me in Canva, and my designs played a key role in helping our team win awards for Best IMC Plan Layout and Best Overall Deliverables.

Team Accomplishments

My favorite part of this project was the opportunity to strengthen my teamwork skills and build strong personal connections with my teammates. We collaborated seamlessly, with everyone showing reliability and clear communication, and I am truly grateful for the experience of working with such an amazing team.

After completing and presenting our Integrated Marketing Communications campaign to our client, my team received the following awards:

  • Second best IMC plan across all sections

  • Second best presentation

  • Overall best IMC plan layout

  • Best commercial

  • Overall best deliverables

  • Most unique introduction

  • Best closing
